ISTQB exams with Cert-IT: booking guide
Use Cert-IT’s current booking catalogue, confirm your exam version and language, and prepare for its ProctorExam remote process.

Check the exact offering. International providers have member-board licensing relationships. Verify the provider in the official ISTQB directory, then confirm country, syllabus version, language and delivery availability before paying.
Cert-IT: board relationship and exam options
The German Testing Board’s provider list identifies Cert-IT as an authorized ISTQB certification body. Cert-IT’s Certified Tester page says it offers exams in German and English and lists exam centers.
Its online booking catalogue includes CTFL v4.0 and other remote-proctored ISTQB offers. Confirm the exam version, language and availability for your country directly with Cert-IT. A remote booking page does not establish unrestricted worldwide eligibility.
Choose the exact exam and appointment
- Open Cert-IT’s booking catalogue and match the chosen offer to your certification guide. Check the complete description rather than relying only on a shortened product label.
- Choose a remote appointment or ask about a listed exam center. For a voucher, establish how it is redeemed and whether a date must be booked separately.
- Confirm the exam language, time zone, candidate ID name and prerequisite documents. Ask about extra-time or accessibility adjustments before paying.
- Check the complete quote and appointment terms, then retain the registration and technical-check emails.
Prepare for ProctorExam remote delivery
Cert-IT’s remote examination guide specifies ProctorExam, Google Chrome with its screen-sharing extension, a computer webcam and microphone, and a smartphone used as a second camera. The emailed system check guides setup before the exam.
Run the check on the equipment and network you will actually use. Read the current room, ID and permitted-aid instructions. If your computer is managed by an employer, establish whether you can install the required extension and connect the second camera before purchasing.
The official information is primarily in German. Confirm whether support and proctor communication meet your language needs as well as checking the language of the exam questions.
Fees, Advanced admission and changes
Cert-IT’s Certified Tester page describes a separate admission charge for a first Advanced Level registration and student pricing. Ask which charges and eligibility conditions apply to your exact exam. Do not assume a generic catalogue price is the full payable amount for every Advanced candidate.

- Get the cancellation and rescheduling rules for the selected appointment or voucher before paying.
- Ask what happens if the system check fails or a prerequisite cannot be validated.
- Confirm any student discount or reimbursement with the provider or board; do not assume approval from a student-status label alone.

For registration, changes, results or certificate questions, contact Cert-IT through its official site or [email protected]. Include the certification, language, appointment date and booking reference.
Use the support instructions in the exam invitation for a problem during the remote session. If results or a certificate are missing, ask the provider to check the booking record. ISTQB.com cannot access your candidate account or change an appointment.
