An independent exam guide
About ISTQB.com
Clear, source-linked information to help you choose, prepare for and book your ISTQB exam.
About this guide and what it is for
ISTQB.com helps you choose a qualification, understand what the exam covers and prepare for the booking and exam-day decisions. The aim is to bring the information together in a form you can use without searching through several unrelated guides.
Start with the certification directory to choose an exam, the CTFL guides to prepare for Foundation Level, or the exam guide for practical arrangements.
Independent and free to read
This is an independently operated information website. It is not ISTQB, a member board, an exam provider or an accredited training provider. We do not sell training or exams, accept exam bookings or issue certificates.
Our content is free to read. Links to official organizations are provided so you can check facts and complete any booking directly with the provider.
How we aim to make the information useful
- Use official sources for exam facts, prerequisites and transition dates.
- Separate the qualification’s rules from local prices and appointment terms.
- Show when important facts were checked and link to the source.
- Provide practical study methods and decision checklists as clearly identified editorial guidance.
- Explain uncertainties rather than filling gaps with a plausible number.
