ISTQB exams in Canada: booking guide
CSTB and iSQI booking, CAD price confirmation and French or English exam checks.

Member board and booking route
Canadian Software Testing Board (CSTB). CSTB’s exam page directs candidates to the iSQI shop. Its FAQ identifies iSQI as its authorized Canadian exam provider and describes remote, test-center and arranged group-exam routes. Use this CSTB route when you want a CSTB-authorized booking. Do not assume every international vendor’s voucher uses the same route.
Fee status in Canada
No verified CAD total yet. We have not confirmed a complete Canada CTFL v4.0 payable total. Ask iSQI for a quote in CAD, including taxes and required charges.

Local booking and delivery checks
CSTB describes FLEX remote exams and Pearson VUE test-center delivery, with paper or online sessions also possible through arranged groups. Confirm which format is offered for your certification. For a center appointment, check the actual location. For remote delivery, use iSQI’s current technical guide rather than old operating-system lists in an FAQ.
- Check your appointment’s named time zone and date against your province. A time displayed by an international shop may not be your local time.
- Select Canada and CAD in the shop, then check the exam variant as well as the display currency.
- CSTB’s FAQ says its exams are not taxable. Confirm that your selected offer is a CSTB exam and check the invoice. Training and other providers’ packages should not inherit this assumption.
Language and adjustments
CSTB discusses French and English exam arrangements. Check the exact language available for your certification, delivery method and appointment. Exam language and the language used by a remote proctor are different questions. CSTB directs extra-time applications to iSQI. Request any approval before booking.
Before you book
Before you pay in Canada, check eligibility, voucher expiry, appointment confirmation and ID requirements. Your study materials should match the version on your Canada booking.
Changes and retakes
CSTB points candidates to iSQI, its authorized Canadian provider, so iSQI sets the cancellation and retake terms. Ask for them in writing before you pay.
Results and certificates
Use the examination body named on your Canada confirmation for results, certificate access and name corrections. Turnaround times vary by provider, and we have not verified one for every Canada route.
