Choose delivery before scheduling

The route offers online proctored exams and available Kryterion test centers. AT*SQA’s current online instructions require a system readiness check before the actual remote appointment can be scheduled.

  • Remote: follow the current computer, camera, room and ID requirements. Complete the readiness check before scheduling the exam.
  • Test center: choose an available center and follow its appointment and arrival instructions.
  • Check the voucher’s expiry and the date by which the exam must be taken. The registration guidance describes 365 days to schedule. Confirm the terms supplied with your purchase.

Get the terms for your exact appointment

AT*SQA’s current remote instructions state that an online exam must be rescheduled more than 24 hours in advance to avoid a rescheduling charge. Some ASTQB overview guidance refers to a three-day window. Use the delivery-specific instructions and ask AT*SQA to confirm the terms attached to your booking.

  • Confirm the actual rescheduling and cancellation cutoff, including time zone.
  • Ask whether any retake benefit applies to your exam and training package. Do not assume it is included.
  • Ask for language extensions or accessibility arrangements well before the appointment.
  • Use AT*SQA’s account and support process for appointment issues and certificate questions.

Our recommendation

Keep a copy of the instructions and your purchase confirmation. If two official pages conflict, obtain a written answer for your exact provider and delivery method before relying on a deadline.
