In this guide
International provider does not mean no board relationship. ISTQB says external exam providers are licensed by one or more member boards to offer exams locally or internationally. Verify the provider and exact exam in the official provider directory. Country, language and delivery restrictions can still apply.
iSQI: exam formats and board relationships
iSQI, the International Software Quality Institute, offers ISTQB exams internationally and works with multiple member boards. Its official ISTQB overview describes FLEX remote proctoring, Pearson VUE test centers, Paper sessions and SMEX digital on-site sessions.
Select the current product for your country to establish which formats and languages are offered. An on-site digital group exam is different from a remote appointment; broad portfolio descriptions should not replace the actual product listing.
Start with country and exam selection
- Open iSQI’s official ISTQB page and select your country in the shop. Find the certification and check the syllabus version.
- Choose the offered exam language and delivery method. Check whether the purchase is a voucher or a scheduled exam, and read the instructions for converting it into an appointment.
- For Pearson VUE delivery, use the iSQI programme at Pearson VUE to create or access your account and schedule. Check voucher acceptance and expiry before purchase.
- For FLEX or a group session, follow the instructions supplied by iSQI or the session organizer. Do not use a Pearson login for a different delivery system.
Request extra time before booking
The Pearson VUE iSQI programme requires time-extension approval before booking an exam. Follow its application instructions, then confirm the approved appointment duration. Accessibility adjustments should also be arranged before committing to a slot.
Fees, vouchers and appointment changes
iSQI’s shop pricing depends on the selected country, currency, exam and delivery type. Use the country guides and exam cost checklist when comparing quotes; there is no single worldwide iSQI price on this page.
For Pearson VUE appointments, the iSQI programme page requires cancellation or rescheduling at least 24 hours in advance and says later changes are not refundable. A shop voucher has its own purchase terms, so appointment cancellation does not by itself establish a voucher refund.
- Confirm prerequisites, exam version, language, ID name and the final tax-inclusive amount.
- Save the voucher expiry and redemption restrictions. Make sure there is a suitable appointment before a deadline-sensitive purchase.
- Check the technical requirements for your selected remote route on the computer and network you will use.
- Check any retake add-on separately. If offered, read its activation and time limits; it is not automatically included with every exam.
Results and candidate support
Use the result and certificate instructions in your iSQI confirmation for the chosen format. For questions, the official ISTQB overview lists [email protected]. Include your exam name, order or candidate reference and delivery route so support can identify your booking.
For a Pearson VUE appointment issue, use the programme’s scheduling or customer-service links. Keep account access and voucher messages until the certificate is received; ISTQB.com cannot retrieve results or change a booking.
