ISTQB exams with Certible: booking guide
Book directly with Certible, use its Self-Service Portal and confirm your country, exam version and technical requirements.

Check the exact offering. International providers have member-board licensing relationships. Verify the provider in the official ISTQB directory, then confirm country, syllabus version, language and delivery availability before paying.
Certible: authorization and exam formats
Certible is a certification body based in Vienna. Its ISTQB page states that it is authorized by the Austrian Testing Board (ATB). That board relationship is separate from the country where a candidate takes an exam.
Certible’s FAQ describes online exams using its own platform and proctors. Organized on-site paper or tablet sessions can be arranged on request. Select the country, exam and language in registration to check the actual offer; do not assume every delivery format is available for every certification.
Register and use the Self-Service Portal
- Start with Certible’s ISTQB catalogue and select the certification. Match the syllabus version to your certification guide.
- Use the official registration form to select country, language, delivery and your preferred exam date. Check the time zone before confirmation.
- Enter candidate and billing details, check the final payable total and complete the offered payment process.
- Read the confirmation email and use the personal Self-Service Portal link to manage the appointment, test equipment and launch the exam.
Prepare for the selected remote exam
Read Certible’s remote exam guidance for your route. Complete the equipment test before the appointment. Check any second-camera or Safe Exam Browser requirement in your registration instructions, rather than assuming that a browser alone is sufficient.
Extra-time requests can be selected during registration; Certible says eligibility is checked before the exam. Contact the provider before booking for other adjustments. Confirm the final duration and keep the ID required for your session ready.
Pricing and appointment changes
Use the official fee calculator with the appropriate country and certification selected. Check the currency, tax treatment and any certificate options in the final quote. Country-specific records stay in our country guides; use the exam cost checklist to compare complete offers.
Certible’s FAQ allows up to five free reschedulings per booking when each change is made at least 24 hours before the appointment. Further changes incur a charge. Manage changes through the Self-Service Portal and check cancellation/refund terms separately: a rescheduling allowance is not a refund promise.
- Confirm prerequisites and the exact syllabus before purchase, especially where older and newer exams have similar labels.
- Save the appointment confirmation and terms. If using an employer or training-provider voucher, establish who handles changes.
- Check retake conditions for the certification you select rather than assuming a second attempt is included.
Results, certificates and register listing
Use Certible’s exam support page for results, technical issues or an appeal, and [email protected] for candidate enquiries. Include the exam and registration reference.
Certible permits optional listing in the ISTQB Successful Candidate Register. Existing certificate holders can contact it about inclusion or withdrawal. Choosing public listing is separate from passing the exam.
