ISTQB exams in Sweden: fees and booking

Member board and booking route

Swedish Software Testing Board (SSTB). SSTB provides online and classroom exam registration and publishes prices on its registration page. Its FAQ says English is offered across its certification program, with Swedish available for some exams.

Published fees in Sweden

SSTB publishes Foundation and Specialist exams at SEK 2,800 excluding VAT (SEK 3,500 including VAT), and Advanced exams at SEK 3,200 excluding VAT (SEK 4,000 including VAT). These are its published registration-route prices. Course packages, discounts and partner bookings can have different terms. Official fee source.

The exam cost guide shows what to count in a Sweden total when you compare offers.

Local booking and delivery checks

Select an online or classroom session from SSTB’s registration route. The invitation supplies the actual time and, for a classroom exam, the address. Check the current online rules and complete any required technical checks before the exam.

• Compare SEK prices including moms, not the net amount alone.
• Keep the exact time from the invitation rather than relying on the page’s typical session times.
• Read the terms attached to your registration: the FAQ and registration page describe rescheduling and late-cancellation conditions differently.

Language and adjustments

Confirm English or Swedish for the selected exam. SSTB’s form allows a request for additional time when exam language differs from the candidate’s first language, and asks for documentation for relevant support needs.

Before you book

Before you pay in Sweden, check eligibility, voucher expiry, appointment confirmation and ID requirements. Your study materials should match the version on your Sweden booking.

Changes and retakes

SSTB publishes its exam prices on the registration page. Check its cancellation and retake terms there, and ask in writing about any change fees.

Results and certificates

Use the examination body named on your Sweden confirmation for results, certificate access and name corrections. Turnaround times vary by provider, and we have not verified one for every Sweden route.
