ISTQB exams in New Zealand: booking guide

Member board and booking route
Australia and New Zealand Testing Board (ANZTB). New Zealand shares ANZTB with Australia. The board directs exam bookings to iSQI and describes Pearson VUE test-center and remotely proctored options. Choose New Zealand and NZD in the shop, then verify that the actual voucher variant is valid for your country and chosen delivery method.
Fee status in New Zealand

Local booking and delivery checks
For a Pearson VUE route, locate an available center and appointment before committing to travel. A remotely proctored exam may avoid travel but still requires a suitable device, room and connection. Follow the current provider instructions for your product. A general remote-exam description does not confirm every exam’s availability.
- Check whether the appointment is stated in NZST, NZDT or another named time zone. Candidates in the Chatham Islands should check their local difference explicitly.
- Do not use an Australian-dollar price as a New Zealand fee. Compare a valid New Zealand offer in NZD and check the applicable GST treatment at checkout.
- If a voucher is bought through an employer or course provider, confirm who makes the separate exam appointment and which candidate account receives the instructions.
Language and adjustments
Confirm the available exam language and any approved additional time with iSQI. ANZTB routes extra-time and special-exam requests to its provider. If you need an adjustment, ask about evidence and approval before reserving an appointment, and retain the approval with your booking confirmation.

Changes and retakes
ANZTB directs bookings to iSQI, so iSQI’s cancellation, date-change and retake terms apply to a New Zealand booking. Get them in writing first.
Results and certificates
Use the examination body named on your New Zealand confirmation for results, certificate access and name corrections. Turnaround times vary by provider, and we have not verified one for every New Zealand route.
