Member board and booking
Malaysian Software Testing Board (MSTB). MSTB directs candidates to its exam secretariat for dates and registration. Start with the current FAQ and contact route rather than an old downloadable calendar.
Published Foundation fee in Malaysia
MSTB’s FAQ lists the Foundation Level exam at MYR 900 (RM900). The fee entry does not specify its syllabus version or tax treatment. Ask the secretariat to confirm the current version and complete payable total before registering.

Delivery and local checks
The online FAQ requires registration at least two weeks ahead. Check that lead time with the secretariat and arrange the system check before your appointment.

- Check the payment instructions issued for your registration before transferring money.
Language and adjustments
The online FAQ requires sufficient English to use the interface and communicate with the proctor. Confirm the question language and syllabus version separately. Request adjustments before booking.
Preparation and booking
Start with the CTFL guide: CTFL is required before any other ISTQB exam. CTFL must be passed before any other ISTQB exam. Then choose the matching official study materials. Follow the booking checklist for eligibility, identity checks and appointment confirmation.
Changes and retakes
MSTB sends cancellation and retake questions to its exam secretariat, so ask the secretariat for its terms in writing before you pay.
Results and certificates
Use the examination body named on your Malaysia confirmation for results, certificate access and name corrections. Turnaround times vary by provider, and we have not verified one for every Malaysia route.
