The Indian Testing Board (ITB) is the ISTQB-approved national board for India. Its website lists certifications and provides a contact or enrollment route. For CTFL, start with the current certification page and confirm which delivery options apply to your location.

Published CTFL v4.0 fees in India

ITB’s CTFL v4.0 page shows the following exam fees under View All Fees. Individual and corporate bookings have separate rates. Checked October 10, 2026.

Individual remote-proctored exam: INR 6,844 with GST. The base fee is INR 5,800. The listed retake costs INR 4,720 with GST (INR 4,000 before GST).

  • Remote proctored: INR 6,844 with GST. Before GST: INR 5,800. Retake: INR 4,720 with GST (INR 4,000 before GST).
  • Pearson VUE remote: INR 7,434 with GST. Before GST: INR 6,300. Retake: INR 5,900 with GST (INR 5,000 before GST).
  • Pearson VUE test center: INR 5,664 with GST. Before GST: INR 4,800. Retake: INR 4,130 with GST (INR 3,500 before GST).

Corporate bookings

  • Remote proctored: INR 6,254 with GST. Before GST: INR 5,300. Retake: INR 4,720 with GST (INR 4,000 before GST).
  • Pen and paper: INR 6,254 with GST. Before GST: INR 5,300. Retake: INR 4,720 with GST (INR 4,000 before GST).

Corporate prices apply to the corporate booking category, not every self-funded candidate. Confirm eligibility, appointment availability and the full payable amount with ITB before purchasing. These are exam fees; a training course or study package is a separate purchase.

ITB lists these remote-proctored exam fees in US dollars for candidates outside India:

These are the named ITB offers, not one price for every ISTQB certification or country. Confirm your location’s eligibility, exam version, appointment, payable total and any payment or currency-conversion charges with ITB before booking. Confirm the enrollment route before submitting

  • Exam and language: ensure your appointment is for the version you have studied.
  • Delivery: ask which remote or test-center arrangements are currently available.
  • Candidate type: public/self-paid, corporate voucher and company-managed bookings can follow different processes.
  • Evidence: confirm any certificate or experience documents needed for your qualification.
  • ID and adjustments: ask for accepted ID, language extension and accessibility instructions.
  • Payment and appointment: keep the payment receipt and confirm when and where the appointment is scheduled.

Check the scheduling rules attached to your route

ITB’s current rescheduling policy says a confirmed exam cannot be rescheduled within 72 hours of its scheduled time. It describes a possible one-time free reschedule when requested at least 72 hours earlier, with platform and candidate-type conditions.

Company-managed candidates may need their organization coordinator rather than the public candidate portal. No-show arrangements are conditional. Read the full policy and confirm the rule for your exact enrollment. Do not assume every missed appointment can be moved.

The FAQ says failed candidates can register again and pay the applicable fee, subject to the policies. Ask whether any package-specific retake conditions apply before rebooking.
