ISTQB exams in Egypt: fees and booking
ESTB and SECC registration, nationality-specific CTFL v4.0 fees and reservation confirmation.

Member board and booking
Egyptian Software Testing Board (ESTB). ESTB appoints the Software Engineering Competence Center (SECC) to administer its ISTQB exams in Egypt. Its exam-calendar page explains portal-account registration and links the application forms. Follow that route and check the current session before applying.
Published Foundation fee in Egypt
ESTB lists CTFL v4.0 at EGP 1,800 for Egyptians and EGP 3,000 for non-Egyptians. These are the board’s published categories, not a residence-based classification. The table does not state tax treatment. Confirm the category, any eligible discount and final amount with SECC.

Delivery and local checks
ESTB says an application is not followed by an immediate confirmation email. Reservation confirmation depends on seat availability. Use the published calendar and wait for the team’s confirmation and document instructions rather than assuming that form submission secures a seat.
- Select the CTFL v4.0 application instead of a retiring Agile or older-version offer.
- Confirm the exam location or delivery format in your acceptance message before arranging transport.
- The calendar page had intermittent access during our check. If it fails, use the official ISTQB directory contact to reach ESTB rather than an unofficial payment link.
Language and adjustments
English is listed for ESTB in the official directory. An Arabic website does not by itself establish Arabic exam availability. Confirm the question language and approved adjustments for your chosen session.
Preparation and booking
Begin with the CTFL guide. No other ISTQB exam can be taken until CTFL is passed. Then choose the matching official study materials. Follow the booking checklist for eligibility, identity checks and appointment confirmation.
Changes and retakes
ESTB runs its exams through SECC, so the cancellation, date-change and retake terms come from that route. Ask SECC for them in writing before you pay.
Results and certificates
Use the examination body named on your Egypt confirmation for results, certificate access and name corrections. Turnaround times vary by provider, and we have not verified one for every Egypt route.
